Children’s Learning Program

CLP is for students from first grade through 11 years old. For students aged 6 and younger, please check out our Early Childhood. For students aged 12 and older, check out B’nai Mitzvah and What’s Up?!

Kolot Chayeinu’s programs for our children and their families are a crucial part of our community. As a Jewish community, we believe strongly in teaching and passing on our tradition to the next generation. Children learn about Judaism, Jewish culture, and what it means to be Jewish from family, school, and community, and we are dedicated to supporting learning from all three.

Participation in the Children’s Learning Program (CLP) for 1st through 5th grade includes:

  • Weekly classes on Monday afternoons.

  • Participation in Shabbat and holidays at least three to six times throughout the year, including one annual Class/Kitah Shabbat and potluck per grade.

  • Two Family Projects a year.

  • Special programming throughout the year, including Family Class and Parent Sessions with the Rabbi, schoolwide holiday learning and celebrations, service learning opportunities and end-of-year Siyyum.

  • You must be a member of Kolot Chayeinu to enroll your child(ren) in CLP, and can do so at the time of enrollment.

  • For more information, please contact DLL Jessica Moore at JessicaMoore@kolotchayeinu.org.

CLP Fees: CLP payment information is accessible only by staff managing this information, and in circumstances where a scholarship or special arrangement is required. If you have any concerns, please contact BrettParker@kolotchayeinu.org.
