High Holydays 5772
We come together in song, prayer, food and Torah for the High Holy Days and all other Jewish holidays.
High Holydays Brochure for 5772/2011
FULL HOUSE!
This year, to meet our growing needs for space on Erev Rosh Hashanah and Kol Nidre, Kolot will host two services, both wit the Rabbi and the Cantor.
The 6 PM service will be briefer, with candle-lighting, songs, prayers and a story or reflection from the Rabbi. It will end by 7:30 PM at the latest.
The 8 PM service will be longer, deeper in the traditional prayers, and will include a sermon by Rabbi Lippmann and should end by 10 PM. Both services on Kol Nidre will include the singing of Kol Nidre.
Please let us know which service you will attend for both Erev Rosh Hashanah and Kol Nidre HERE.
Kolot's doors are open to all but our building has limitations. Your response will not guarantee a place, so pleas arrive early to increase your chances of getting a seat.
OPEN DOORS
You don't need tickets for the High Holydays services. Kolot Chayeinu members believe in living our ethical values in our community. That's why our High Holydays services are open to everyone and why we have a Fair Share dues structure that articulates that money should never be an obstacle to being in our community. A large portion of Kolot's budet comes from contributions made during the holidays. Kolot requests a contribution of $234/person for non-members and $136/person for dues-paying members. We ask that you contribute as generously as you can.
