Wondering what a typical Locally Grown Shabbat is like? We start with services - always something a little different, depending on who's leading us! Styles really range, but it's always Kabbalat Shabbat. One month it could be a meditative service, the next a more traditional Carlebach-influenced service, and then next month still it could be very musical! We bring young Jewish leaders from all around Brooklyn to lead spirited davening, and give us a diversity of experiences in davening/praying and experiencing Kabbalat Shabbat.
