Locally Grown (20's & 30's)

Locally Grown Shabbat at Kolot Chayeinu/Voices of our lives is a minyan of people in their 20s and 30s (and those who want to daven with us!) that's pure Brooklyn: Brooklyn service leaders, Brooklyn teachers, Brooklyn-sourced food and wine, and Brooklyn you! Leaders and teachers have included Rabbi Molly Kane, Student Rabbi Scott Fox, Rabbi Alyssa Wise, Shira Kline, Alicia Jo Rabins, and many other exciting Brooklynites!

Join us on the second Friday of the month between September and June at:

6:30 pm for Shiur, time for Jewish learning
7:00 pm for Kabbalat Shabbat, welcome Shabbat with song & prayer
8:00 pm for Shabbat meal, potluck vegetarian

MISSION STATEMENT

We are a Jewish congregation in Brooklyn, where doubt can be an act of faith and all hands are needed to build our community. We are creative, serious seekers who pray joyfully, wrestle with tradition, pursue justice and refuse to be satisfied with the world as it is.
