After years of exploration while using increasingly decrepit paper copies, we will now have a beautiful new prayerbook for our Shabbat and holiday services: Kol HaNeshama, the siddur of the Reconstructionist movement. This new siddur includes traditional prayers in Hebrew, transliterated Hebrew and English; wonderful commentaries and Jewish teachings; poetry and song. We began using it in the Fall 2011 with the start of the 5772 Congregational Year. And we are still dreaming: Someday we hope to own a new mahzor for the High HolyDays.
Thanks to those who have generously responded to our invitation to gift Kolot Chayeinu with over 150 copies thus far of our new siddur - Kol Haneshama. Our goal is to have 300 siddurim, so we hope you will continue to honor your loved ones in this way.
And we'd like to continue providing opportunities for you to honor your loved ones by now inviting you to help us purchase copies of the prayerbooks listed below, which we also use. These new resources for our community are wonderful ways to:
Your gift will be acknowledged on a special bookplate and Kolot will also send a letter of acknowledgment to your loved one.
