PARENTS' BLESSINGS
Kitah Bet
Mi sheh-berakh avoteinu Avraham, Yitzhak vYaakov, v'imoteinu Sarah, Rivka, Leah vRakhel:
May the One who blessed our ancestors Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah, Rebekah, Leah and Rachel, also bless the parents of Kitah Bet.
Grant them a sense of belonging, and community, pride and the flair to bring their children into Judaism.
May they have knowledge and confidence and the strength to reinforce what their children are learning, and may they gain a sense of history, experience of the larger world, and recognize their place in the continuum of Jews.
And we ask, O God, that they and their children have fun engaging in Judaism, and experience the deep joy that Judaism and being Jewish can bring. AMEN

Kitah Gimel
Dear God, Bless these parents with a lot of patience, with balance and perspective, and a spirituality that may come through poetry or insight. Enable them to have better organization, more time, more community, and may these result in great calm, increased contentment, and deepening joy. Amen.

Kitah Dalet
Dear God, You whose presence fills creation,
We ask for Your attention to the parents of Kitah Dalet. Grant them clarity and understanding of their spiritual selves, be it through music or other means. Give them the ability to have peace from all the distractions and noise of life, a greater sense of having a reservoir of energy when they feel tapped out, and a greater sense of confidence in the future. Let them find ways to engage in the non-chore parts of family life, and to appreciate all the wonderful things about their children and enjoy them. Allow them patience and the time it requires, and let them have perspective so that they do not lose perspective. May everyone be happy. And may each and every one have health in body, mind, and spirit. If you have that, you have everything. AMEN
