Children of Abraham Peace Walk
Judaism teaches that each person is created in God's image, and we are thus deeply respectful of one another even in strong disagreement...We support and act in common cause with those who pursue justice, peace and fairness here and around the world. -- Kolot Chayeinu Values Statement
Please join us for the
9th Annual Children of Abraham Peace Walk, September 11 2012
Every year we walk together in a spirit of peace: Jews, Christians, Muslims and all people of good will walking as we remember those who died on 9/11 and commemorate the spirit of friendship that supported so many thereafter.
In 2011, after stopping at various houses of worship and a local firehouse we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, ending up in lower Manhattan as we support the emergence of a new community center (“Charlotte’s Place”) while deepening our interfaith connections.
